Virginia Volterra travaille à l'Institut des Sciences et Technologies de la Cognition, CNR, Rome. Elle est Project Leader du CRP OMLL: "Action, gesture and word in a developmental and evolutionary perspective" et PI du projet "Words, gestures and signs in the acquisition and development of language".
