Veronica Boix Mansilla, is a Principal Investigator at Project Zero --
Harvard Graduate School of Education. Her research and writings focus on
the development of understanding as it takes place in (and between)
disciplines like science, history, and the arts. With Howard Gardner she
co-directs an empirical study of interdisciplinary work and education. The
study examines the intellectual, organizational, and pedagogical
complexity of interdisciplinary work as it takes place in exemplary
research institutions and model collegiate and pre-collegiate educational
programs in the United States
