Biography: Dr. Stoffregen is a Professor of Kinesiology and Director of the Human Factors Research Laboratory at the University of Minnesota. He conducts theoretical and empirical research on how humans relate to depictions in a variety of technologies, including cinema, virtual environments, and simulation. He is especially interested in the perceptual information that allows users to differentiate depictions from the depicted reality.
