THOMAS NAGEL (B.Phil., Oxford; Ph.D., Harvard), University Professor, Professor of Law, Professor of Philosophy. He specializes in Political Philosophy, Ethics, Epistemology, and Philosophy of Mind. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences and a Fellow of the British Academy, and has held fellowships from the Guggenheim Foundation, the National Science Foundation, and the National Endowment for the Humanities.
