Tatiana Nazir is head of the team Brain and Language: Perception and Comprehension of Language at the Institute for Cognitive Science in Lyon. Research in her team focuses on the perception of written language with the aim to understand how language particular factors enter into monitoring visual information extraction/ memorization during processing of print. Her goal is to provide a model of how the reading system develops and varies across different languages and writing systems, and how it is represented in the brain.
