Sara Casado
Sara Casado graduated from the Basque Country University in 1990 in Mathematics. Since 1991 she has worked as a researcher at the Mechanics Unit at LABEIN. Her main activities are related to: development of software for Design Automatization and Shape Optimisation, Development of Optimisation Tool using Design of Experiments Theory, graphical interfaces (phigs, Open Interface Elements, Visual C++, MFC,Tcl-Tk), system manager(UNIX, WNT), parallelization techniques, distribution techniques and development of virtual reality applications for blind and visually impaired people and for simulation of mechanical assemblies using different tools: glasses, navigators , haptic interfaces, voice synthesis and voice recognition.
