Robert Brandon holds a joint appointment in Philosophy and Biology. He is a member of the Duke's Center for the Philosophy of Biology. He has published in Philosophy of Science, Studies in History and Philosophy of Science, Biology and Philosophy. Among his books: Adaptation and Environment (1990, Princeton), Concepts and Methods in Evolutionary Biology (1996, Cambridge).
