Dr. Corcoran's research interests lie within the field of cognitive neuropsychiatry. In particular she is interested in the socio-cognitive basis of the signs and symptoms of psychotic illness. Within this area, her most recent research has explored a model of 'theory of mind' as it relates to the symptom-specific difficulties with this skill in people with schizophrenia.
