Since 1998, Dr. Peter Simkens is the managing director of the embryonal technology network DSP Valley, focusing on the design of microelectronics systems for signal processing, including telecommunication and navigation technology, and digital imaging and sound processing. Peter Simkens is a guest professor at the technical high school in Oostende, where he teaches space technology and simulation technology for bachelor students in aeronautics and for masters students in avionics.
