Per Homan Jespersen is Associate Professor at the Roskilde University. His field of research is mobility and transport, where he is studying how mobility is generated, environmental impacts of mobility, and regulation of mobility. He is presently conducting a couple of projects on goods transport and on transport policy and planning in the Copenhagen Area.
His background is in technology assessment and planning, especially methodological problems connected with the integration of natural and social sciences in practical planning processes. Besides mobility, his empirical interests are environmental management, enterprises, and public participation in planning processes.
In addition, he works with quantitative methods in relation to many of the research areas at the department.
