Pasquale Pasquino

Pasquale Pasquino is Directeur de recherche at the CNRS, Paris and Visiting professor in Politics and Law at New York University. He has conducted research and taught at a number of institutions, such as the Collège de France, Paris; the Max-Planck-Institut für Geschichte, Göttingen; King's College, Cambridge; the University of Chicago; the Università di Torino; the Ecole Normale Supérieure, Paris; the Institut d'Etudes Politiques, Paris; and the Université de Paris I - Sorbonne. He has published widely on the history of political and constitutional theory. His books include Sieyes et la naissance du constitutionnalisme en France (Odile Jacob, Paris, 1998). He presently works on constitutional adjudication and democracy.
