Olivier Coenen
Olivier J.-M. D. Coenen (Ph.D., Team leader) has a Ph.D. in Biophysics from the University of California, San Diego. He held a Research Scientist position at the San Diego Children’s Hospital Research Center, and was a Research Associate II at the Salk Institute in La Jolla, both in California. He has been doing research in theoretical and computational neuroscience for 14 years and now heads the neuroscience research team at the Sony Computer Science Laboratory in Paris, where he develops analytical techniques for the derivation of learning rules, and computational models of sensorimotor systems, including the cerebellum.
