Nicolas Benguigui
Nicolas Benguigui, Maître de Conférences, obtained his PhD in Sport Sciences (1997) from the University of Poitiers, under the supervision of Prof H. Ripoll. His research focus on various models of perception-action coupling, with a specific interest for the human control laws that underlie hitting, catching, and grasping moving and approaching objects (including balls in sports). Dr. Benguigui is using virtual reality devices to identify the relevant optical and proprioceptive variables composing these control laws.
