Murray Clarke is Professor of Philosophy at Concordia University in Montreal, Canada and is Adjunct Research Professor at Carleton University’s Institute of Cognitive Science in Ottawa, Canada. He has been a visiting scholar at Rutger’s University and The University of Western Ontario. He works in Cognitive Science on issues in philosophy of mind and science as they relate to the results of evolutionary psychology and other areas of psychology. His book, Reconstructing Reason and Representation (MIT, 2004), received Honourable Mention for the William James Prize of the American Psychological Association (2005). He has published in the Australasian Journal of Philosophy, Philosophical Studies, Philosophy of Science, Synthese, and elsewhere.
