Marie-Catherine Sahut has been a Curator at the Louvre Museum since 1976, in charge of French eighteenth-century painting. She is an alumnus of the Villa Médicis, Académie de France à Rome (1979-1980). The exhibitions she has curated include: Carle Vanloo (1977); L'attribution, méthodes et problèmes (1978-1979); Le Louvre d'Hubert Robert (1979); Diderot et l'art de Boucher à David (1984).
