Laura Bossi, born in Milan, is a Paris-based neurologist who specializes in neuropsychopharmacology, epileptology and therapeutics, working in drug development in areas such as epilepsy, Alzheimer's disease, stroke and various neurological disorders. She is President and Founder of the Physis S.A.S. laboraties (2000-), President and founder of Elistem Biopharmaceuticals (2002-). She is the author of over a hundred scientific articles, and of Epilepsy, Pregnancy and the Child (Raven Press, NY, 1982). Work in the history of science includes participation in the exhibitions: La Fabrique de la Pensée (La Villette, Paris, 1990-91), L’âme au corps (Grand Palais, Paris, 1993), and Petite histoire de l'âme, in preparation.
