Karin Coninx
Prof. dr. Karin Coninx has a PhD (1997) in Human-Computer Interaction in virtual environments. She is a member of EDM’s management committee and group leader of the Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) group of EDM. She is responsible for several PhD students, and has managed several basic research projects (ITEA program and national subsidized research). She is a full time professor at the Limburg University Center. Her research interests include Virtual Environments, Human-Computer Interaction, Mixed Reality, Tangible and multi-modal interfaces, Haptic interaction, User-Centered Software Design/Development, Multi-device and mobile UI.
