Joanna Bryson uses Artificial Intelligence (AI) techniques to build working models of intelligence in order to test their behavior and compare it to that of real animals. She created Behavior Oriented Design (BOD), a methodology for developing control of complex intelligent and virtual agents. She is now applying BOD to model non-human primate behavior.
