Joan De Boeck
Joan De Boeck obtained an Engineering degree from “Katholieke Hogeschool Kempen” in 1996. He also obtained a Master degree in Computer Science (with an applied mathematics component), as an additional study, in 1997. He started his research career under a voluntary collaboration in 1998 and he is now employed for 50% in the LUC since 2000, where he has been active in several research projects of the EDM. His research interests include Virtual Environments, Human-Computer Interaction, haptic interaction and multi-modal interfaces. He is enrolled as a PhD student in the LUC.
