Ezio Manzini is professor of Design at the Politecnico di Milano where he is Director of the Research Design and Innovation for Sustainability Unit and coordinator of the Doctorate in Industrial Design. Currently, he is also visiting lecturer at the Tohoku University in Japan. In the past, he has been Director of the Domus Academy in Milan and Chair Professor of Design at the Hong Kong Polytechnic University. In the 2006 he was nominated Honorary Doctor of Fine Arts at The New School of New York. His works are based on strategic design and design for sustainability, with a focus on scenario building and solution development.
