Eric Corijn

Eric Corijn is professor of social and cultural urban geography. He works at the Cosmopolis Institute for City, Culture and Society of the Free University of Brussels. Since 2006 he has been appointed as Deputy Chairman of the Regional Development Committee of the Brussels-Capital Region. The committee advises on town planning and city redevelopment, and, in addition to independent experts, is made up of representatives from the Economic and Social Board, the Committee for Monuments and Landscapes, the Council for the Environment, the Mobility Committee and the Districts.
