Davydd J. Greenwood is the Goldwin Smith Professor of Anthropology, Director of the Institute for European Studies at Cornell University, and an elected Corresponding Member of the Spanish Royal Academy of Moral and Political Sciences. His work centers on action research, political economy, ethnic conflict, community and regional development in Spain and on the future of the social sciences in “corporatizing” universities.
