Dario Taraborelli is a research fellow at the Centre for Research in Social Simulation, University of Surrey (UK).
He studied cognitive science and philosophy of science at the University of Pisa, the Scuola Normale Superiore and the Ecole des Hautes Etudes en Sciences Sociales. A former Marie Curie Fellow at University College London, he lectured on the philosophy of cognitive science at the University of Paris 7.
His current research is in the field of social computing and focuses on the dynamics of online collaboration, the production and consumption of reputation indicators and the phenomenon of crowdsourcing.
He is editor-in-chief of the Review of Philosophy and Psychology, a peer-reviewed journal published quarterly by Springer focusing on foundational and philosophical issues in cognitive science.
