After an experience in Internet marketing, Carlo Iacovini worked with a company operating
in external communication. In 1997 founded Ecomobility, a Consultancy for
public and private sectors, and conducted International research into
mobility management. In October 1997 presented at "International Rendez Vous
of Electric Vehicles" of Montecarlo, his "Archimedes Project" a rental
service of vehicle models with minimal environmental impact, for urban
locations.
In 1998 realised "The Ecomobility System", a dissertation on the problems of
mobility in urban areas presenting possible solutions as offered by new
developments. As founder of Ecomobility he is involved with primary
developments in this sector presently being studied in Italy.
Since June 1999, he joined Methodos S.p.A, a private consulting company with the
objective of developing the theme of mobility management within the public
and private sector.
He is founder and general secretary of Euromobility, Association of Mobility
Manager and support many local Government in implementing mobiltiy
management plans. He is also scientific coordinator of MoVe international
Observatory, an international platform, promoted by FIA Foundation and
Italian Automobile Club, established to promote new policies in the urban
metropolitan areas.
