Astros Chatziastros
Astros Chatziastros received his master’s degree in psychology in 1997 from the Eberhard-Karls-Universität in Tübingen, Germany. Since then he was enrolled in a doctoral program at the Psychophysics Department of the Max Planck Institute for Biological Cybernetics in Tübingen. He received a Ph.D. degree in the natural sciences in 2003 from the Justus-Liebig-Universität in Giessen, Germany. His research area is perception and motor control of locomotion in virtual environments, investigating aspects of dynamic visual information for steering, adaptation to temporal delays, the role of oculomotor behavior during driving, and motor representations of elementary driving actions.
