Andrei Popescu-Belis is senior research assistant at ISSCO/TIM/ETI, University of Geneva, where he works on research projects in the field of natural language processing by computers. His interest in language evolution is related to the possibility of designing computational, agent-based models of various aspects of the phenomenon, in particular the evolution of lexical and syntactic features of language.
